We were able to spend a weekend working on the tiny house and got quite a bit done. There is just a lot of little things really to finish but each project takes time.
This time we finished:
1. Trimmed all the windows
2. Put up new exterior wall to the bathroom
3. Hung the upper cabinets in the kitchen
4. Installed bathroom ceiling drywall
5. Added spackle to said drywall seams x 2
So all in all it’s coming together. I still need to pick out what I want to use for a counter top for the kitchen. I may need to make a trip up to IKEA as the local big box home improvement stores really don’t have what I want. Besides picking out counter top there is still quite a bit to do including trim work, installing the floor, installing bathroom lighting, sink, etc., installing a ceiling fan/light combo as well as smaller things like installing roller shades for all the windows, figuring out how best to create a gravity fed system that will provide water for hand washing, etc., So still a lot on the ‘to do’ list but the list is getting smaller so that’s good.
